Linda Faye Seaford, 80, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, transitioned from this life on April 28, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born on November 13, 1945, in Robeson County, North Carolina, to the late Howard Sampson and Mary Jane Locklear Sampson. Linda was a dedicated cosmetologist who spent many years serving others through her work in the salon industry. She was known for her warm spirit, kind heart, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Linda leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas Alvin Seaford; her daughters, Kim Pait (Woody) of Hope Mills, Kimberly Kunz (Mike) of South Carolina, and Tracy Seaford Delaire (Victor) of Raeford; her sister, Brenda Sampson of New York; 5 grandchildren, Chelci Austin, Jade White, Victoria Delaire, Tyler Strickland and Ashley Carter and 7 great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward “Buck” Sampson, James Sampson, Howard Sampson, Jr., and George Sampson; and her sisters, Carolyn Bullard and Nina Morgan.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Jim Holland Jr. will officiate

Interment will follow at Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
