Donald Ray Clark of Maxton departed this life on August 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at Scotland Regional Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Lock Clark and Carrie Mae Clark, as well as five brothers, Willie Clark, Lock Clark, Jr., James C. Clark, John Wesley Clark, and J.C. Clark; five Sisters, Vashtie Lowery, Callie Mae Oxendine, Mae Helen Clark, Carrie Neal Clark, and Vera Lee Locklear.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Savannah Clark of the home; two stepdaughters, Velinda Locklear (Nicholas) of Maxton and Elsie Brantley (Brandan) of Maxton; one stepson, Kevin Goins (Camille) of Pembroke; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sadie McGirt and Elouise Locklear (Tom); two special sister in laws; and a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Donald will be remembered for the life he lived, the love he shared, and the memories he leaves behind. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
